The Safe and Clean Neighborhood Fund was established in 2007 to supply matching support for community-led initiatives that improve safety in Cincinnati neighborhoods. Over $850,000 has been awarded for Safe and Clean Projects including; lighting, security cameras, landscaping, murals, public art, water fixtures, community gardens, and more!
In 2023-2024, the City of Cincinnati is investing an additional $500,000 in the Safe and Clean Neighborhood Fund with the ongoing annual investment of $50,000 (Safe & Clean Grant). As of October 2023, the Safe and Clean Neighborhood Fund and original Safe and Clean Grant funding sources have been combined to reduce confusion and provide more opportunities for all organizations to apply with without restrictions.
