Encouraging environmental stewardship through applied learning.
Over the past 20 years, we have provided free educational opportunities to underserved children so they understand the importance of natural resources and how litter can affect their environment. Our current education initiatives feature a hands-on approach to learning, not only focusing on classrooms but the community at large.
In 2022, Keep Cincinnati Beautiful announced it's first ever Don't Trash the 'Nati Teen Council as part of the refreshed Don't Trash the 'Nati Campaign. The DTTN Teen Council will consist of representatives from Cincinnati Public High Schools who will work together to combat litter in the Cincinnati community. We are currently designing educational programming for our corporate partners as well as a workforce development program for post-secondary individuals. Stay tuned!
For K-8 resources, Keep Cincinnati Beautiful offers 19 environmental lessons focusing on topics like recycling, composting, litter's impact on wildlife, and more.
