High impact, low-cost beautification strategies
The Arts Program works to provide a “face-lift” to buildings and structures in the neighborhoods of Cincinnati. From vacant boarded buildings to neglected blank walls, a coat of paint adds vibrancy and dimension to public spaces throughout the city. Building facades, alleyway murals, and temporary eco-art installations offer an opportunity for the public to engage in public artwork where it's often not found. These beautification strategies serve as positive interventions to promote equity and improve the quality of life for all residents of Cincinnati.
