Assemblies are a great education tool. Not only are we able to educate hundreds of students about environmental issues in a short period of time, but our assemblies enhance vocabulary, help students develop listening skills, and encourage good behavior.

The Wartville Wizard
In its 14th season, “The Wartville Wizard” is our longest running educational program. The whimsical play is performed for elementary students by high school students from Walnut Hills under the direction of drama coach Kate Wilford.
How Litter Hurts Animals— The Wings of Wonder Bird Show
This is an exciting assembly that Keep Cincinnati Beautiful offers to K-6th grade students to demonstrate the harmful affects of litter on animals. The Cincinnati Zoo has modified it’s “Wings of Wonder” live bird show to include important information like what students can do to protect animals and the environment.
Go With the Flow
This assembly helps 3rd-6th graders understand the basic concepts of energy and water conservation. They will learn why it’s important to conserve our natural resources as well as how they can make a difference at school and at home! We use student helpers and bright visuals to keep them engaged in learning about these essential environmental topics.
Ready, Set, RECYCLE
Ready, Set, RECYCLE is a 20-minute, information-packed assembly on the basics of recycling. We’ve made it a baseline requirement for classroom programming to familiarize students with our organization and get them excited about recycling. We use giant props to capture the attention of students, K-8th grade. Students even get to take home informational swag — a recycling magnet with pictures of acceptable items, courtesy of the City of Cincinnati!
