Green Cincinnati

Ever since the large amount of research on the greenhouse effect was really taken into consideration, people around the globe have developed a large concern for their health and the environment.  Since then, a series of events have occurred, which educated the masses and created a trendy effort to help reduce and eventually reverse these adverse effects.  People began taking small steps to help this cause and organizations shortly followed, thus starting the Go Green movement around the world.  Within Downtown Cincinnati, this movement can be observed being worked on by the people, companies, and even the Downtown community council.  In order to better understand the global effort to Go Green, several organizations were looked at within Downtown Cincinnati: Go Green Cincinnati, Live Green Cincinnati, and Go Metro.

The Go Green movement could be the thing that saves our race from possible destruction due to the deteriorating atmosphere and environment.  It is the effort of the entire global population that this movement can have maximum effect to turn the world for the better; therefore, this is an important issue for everyone.  In order to better explore this effort, these organizations within Downtown Cincinnati are summarized and thoroughly examined for the work they do to Go Green.  Each group is thoroughly explained and analyzed in order to explore their effects and better understand the global effort to Go Green.
