In honor of Keep America Beautiful's most famous icon, Keep Cincinnati Beautiful began presenting the "Iron Eyes Cody Award" over 10 years ago to an individual, company or agency that went above and beyond to promote a cleaner, more beautiful Cincinnati. Congratulations to the 2010 "Iron Eyes Cody Award" winner:

We chose to honor a partnership that we hope continues to grow over the years.  Their audience is our audience; their core vision is closely aligned with our core mission - to enhance the quality of life in the region.  Where we provide the tools and programming for communities to change their environment, they do so by providing thought-provoking, entertaining and informative content.  Some of that content is about becoming greener, and they have helped us communicate to the community our need for more volunteers for the Great American Cleanup, our need for more Daffodils & Daylilies contributions, and throughout this past year we have had a weekly on-air environmental show.  They have set up a live remote with us during our Great American Cleanup and interviewed community members and sponsors.  They have also received many local, regional and national awards over the years, and have been voted best radio station by City Beat Magazine. Thank you, WNKU, for your continued support of KCB!
