Community Improvement

Community improvement is a core part of programming at Keep Cincinnati Beautiful and is one of the most tangible ways we express our mission of educating and encouraging individuals to take greater responsibility for improving their environments. KCB collaborates on various projects throughout the city with the ultimate goal of creating better communities. Depending on the project, we are generally able to provide supplies, funding, volunteers, and/or information.

We always hope to enhance both the geographic areas where we work and the quality of life for those Cincinnati residents. We know that community improvements can impact the economics of a neighborhood by helping to attract new residents and businesses, as well as reducing crime and blight.

Beautification is the main component of community improvement and as an award-winning affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, we see beautification in the same light. Beauty is a silent but powerful force that makes communities safer, healthier, and more livable.

The following are examples of projects that Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, in partnership with a variety of stakeholders, has been involved with over the years.
If you have an idea for a community improvement project or are interested in sponsoring one, please call (513) 352-4380.
