Become a Friend

We are extremely grateful for the thousands of volunteers that show their support for KCB by cleaning up their communities, beautifying their streets, and educating their residents. Without their efforts, we would not be successful. That said, we also rely heavily on individual and corporate donations in order to continue providing programming that is community-driven, results-oriented, and based on changing behaviors. The "Friends" campaign was designed to raise money for the organization as a whole, yet many of our supporters enjoy giving to a specific program. Donations of any size are always appreciated, but to give you an idea of what your money might support:

A $25 donation allows us to purchase rover 100 daffodil and daylily bulbs that are planted along our highways and corridors every Fall. Studies have shown that beautified roadways have significantly less litter and a handful of other positive effects.

A $50 donation will support a classroom presentation for a local school. KCB currently offers a wide variety of environmental education programs for all age groups at no cost to the school.

A $100 donation will purchase gardening tools, equipment, and/or materials for a community beautification project. We also regularly give away supplies like garbage bags, latex gloves, and water to community groups organizing volunteer projects at no cost. This is where larger donations are really utilized!

If you have a chance, spend some time exploring our website. You'll see that we are dedicated to providing valuable resources to Cincinnati residents, empowering them to "be the change". Giving to Keep Cincinnati Beautiful will improve our city in more ways than one.
