Graffiti Hurts® - Care for Your Community is aimed at educating individuals about the consequences of graffiti in their communities. The fact is, graffiti is harmful to everyone -- homeowners, businesses, schools, and you. It is part of the broken window theory.
Graffiti clean up alone costs U.S. cities millions of dollars each year. And, research shows that graffiti can result in more graffiti, vandalism, and crime in suburban and urban communities.
Using the Graffiti Hurts® resources, communities can get educated about graffiti and build local partnerships to prevent and remove it.
