Adopt-A-Spot

Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, in partnership with the City of Cincinnati Department of Public Services, invites you to Adopt-A-Spot!  This program encourages residents to improve their neighborhoods by cleaning littered curbs, sidewalks, and vacant lots, cutting grass and high weeds, planting flowers, removing signs from utility poles, reporting graffiti, and so on.  Take part in this exciting and innovative program by “adopting” a portion of your neighborhood. From business districts to your own block, beautification and maintenance of your own “spot” will benefit your community in more ways than one!

In appreciation of your hard work and commitment to improving the quality of life in your neighborhood, Keep Cincinnati Beautiful will:

o    Each attending Adopt-A-Spot participant will also receive a litter pickup stick and be eligible for monetary awards!

o    It is not required to purchase a sign, however if you would like one posted, please make a check payable to Keep Cincinnati Beautiful and mail to 801 Plum St Rm 16, Cincinnati, OH 45202 along with your application information.  (It usually takes 4 – 6 weeks for the sign to be manufactured and installed. We cannot process the request until payment is received.)

Research has proven that beautification increases property values, improves safety, and encourages economic development.  By adopting a spot, you are showing that you care about our city.  When an area is cared for, there is noticably less litter, less crime, and less blight. Adopt-A-Spot today, and together we can work to improve our community environments!

Before you complete the online registration form, please make sure you read and understand the information above! Then, check the list of active Adopt-A-Spots to see what areas are available.
