Volunteers and Pro Bono Support

Volunteers are a vital part of our ability to serve communities on the Greater Cincinnati Area. We look forward to putting your skills and assets to work in support of more sustainable local community initiatives.

Education Volunteer Opportunities

Have a special project your interested in for your school that you need some additional help with? Keep Cincinnati Beautiful will be happy to assist you in your efforts as it pertains to beautification, litter prevention and/or recycling at your school. Contact Barb at 352-4387.

A volunteer experience is a great way to connect students with their community. It is our mission, at Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, to teach students to be stewards of their community and the earth. There are several ways you can take part.

The Great American Cleanup at Your School

Be a part of this national clean-up effort by volunteering to collect litter around your school campus. Last year, students from nearly 1,600 students from Cincinnati public, parochial and private schools participated.  Next year KCB will be giving teachers and schools the week of April 19th, to take part in making their school campus litter free. KCB provides bags and gloves for your cleanup. Contact Barb at 352-4387 to reserve.

Volunteerism Throughout the Year

Keep Cincinnati Beautiful will be happy to provide you with a volunteer experience for your class or group. All you need to do is fill out the volunteer request form and if we do not have an existing opportunity, we will find one that meets your group needs.

Adopt-A-Spot

If you live or work in the City of Cincinnati, you can adopt an area to keep free of litter. For a small start-up fee, the City will post a sign with your organization name on it and we will provide all the bags and gloves you need! Its an easy (and fun!) way to show that your company cares about keeping Cincinnati beautiful!

Corporate Volunteer Opportunities

We have numerous opportunities for companies both large and small. We can't think of a better way to foster teamwork than to help a community clean up an illegal dumpsite or to plant perennials at a Daffodils & Daylilies site!

Great American Cleanup and Make a Difference Day

These are our signature events. The Great American Cleanup takes place each April and is the nation largest day of community service. Make a Difference Day is its fall counterpart. Join thousands of volunteers to help us clean up the tri-state!

Community Cleanups

Join us on the second Saturday of each month for a cleanup or beautification project in a community near you!

Internships

Are you a local college student with a passion for affecting positive change? We have opportunities for you! We are always on the lookout for motivated individuals, especially with experience in public education, marketing, public relations, or event planning. To apply, please send a resume and cover letter via email to Josman Rodriguez. For more information, contact call 352-4383.
