Just in time for spring, over 200,000 daffodils are beginning to bloom along Cincinnati’s highways. The daffodils were planted as part of the Daffodils & Daylilies highway beautification program, a joint effort between Keep Cincinnati Beautiful and the Cincinnati Park Board. Daffodils & Daylilies and other perennials have been planted at over ten sites along the highways, including at the I-75 Mitchell interchange, the I-471 median, and the entrance ramp from Montgomery Rd. onto I-71.

New this spring, Keep Cincinnati Beautiful unveiled “I Daffodil Cincinnati” static cling bumper stickers. A sticker has been mailed to past donors and is available on our website when you make a donation of at least $10. Click here to donate now! Cincinnati residents can support a good cause and show their pride in our community! Proceeds purchase more daffodil & daylily bulbs to be planted along the highways.

This is the eleventh year for Keep Cincinnati Beautiful’s Daffodil & Daylilies program, and it has been funded solely by donations since its inception. Research shows that by beautifying an area litter will be reduced. The flowers and landscaping show that Cincinnatians care about their city and want it to look beautiful.
